On the Blindwrite website we can find a new Blindwrite Suite version. This latest version has some small changes and now includes a how-to document on the BWA-builder which contains physical media description required for instance for the latest SecuRom protections.
Besides that this latest Blindwrite Suite version introduces 'media local density variation' a technique comparable to the Twinpeaks technique which was first introduced by our forum member blackcheck, who posted this on our popular Optical Storage Technical Discussions Forum.
Blindwrite Suite v4.2.1
- Latest BWABuilder and how-to doc
- Hardware database updated
- Implement "media local density variation" (mldv, equivalent to twinpeak technique)
Quick tutorial for latest protection
- Extract with BR
- Create a .bwa of the same base name using latest bwabuilder ( see doc with bwabuilder ) and place it in the same location than the image files.
- burn with BW using DAO pw or pq
- (only if you play the copy from a CD writer) run insektor V3 and turn on support
- Launch cd ( be patient with some drives)

You can download this latest Blindwrite Suite version from www.blindwrite.com. More information on the Twinpeaks technique can be found in this thread on our forum. Please note that this thread was meant for technical users.
Other users should simply check out the new Blindwrite Suite version or Alcohol 120% which is also known to be successful against the latest SecuRom and SafeDisc protections.Source: Blindwrite

looks like we're going back to the good ol' days, like a year ago, when there was a new version of blindsuite every other day

looks like we're going back to the good ol' days, like 3 years ago, when there was no not-copyable protection.
