Sony to give away Blu-ray title to first 500,000 EU PS3 network users

In another aim for Sony to promote and boost the Blu-ray format and get customers on to its Playstation Network, Sony has announced that it will give away copies of James Bond Casino Royale on Blu-ray to the first 500,000 European users who register on the Playstation Network, according to pocket-lint.

The Playstation network gives access to games services, allows users to take part in multiplayer games online and to keep in touch online.  So far, Sony has included the title "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby" with its first 400,000 PS3 releases in North America, however they were included with the console instead.

my goodness; at that high price, they should give away extra controllerS, ps2 adapters, hdmi cables, extra points or whatever on ps3 network, and movies; even if sony does that, i wouldn't consider it "give away", but buying a bundle package.
Afterwards, Sony releases Blueray stats that show they just jumped ahead of HD-DVD by 500,000 more sales!!!

I love the way Sony skews the numbers.
Yea just like the dreaded MS & x-box hd drive.

rock on sony...........
