Toshiba recalling 73,554 portable DVD players

Marketwatch is reporting that Toshiba is recalling 73,554 portable DVD players. The devices with the model number SD-P1600 are in danger of overheating. Already four cases of this have been reported according to Toshiba. The company has also already discontinued the producting of the players.

People that need to replace the device get an alternating power adapter free of charge.

Now if only Polaroid would recall every portable DVD player they've ever made. Pure overheating junk. I'm gonna start opening all AV boxes to put my own heatsinks on chips inside. loveit
