On a press release, Transcend announced its largest capacity SD product to date: a 16GB Class 6 SDHC card.

Transcend’s 16GB SDHC card supports the FAT32 file system format and is fully Class 6 compliant (i.e. the card features a guaranteed minimum write speed of 6MB/s).

The 16GB SDHC card also includes special features such as a mechanical write protection switch that keeps your important data safe from accidental deletion or over-writing. Transcend’s SDHC Class 6 series features ECC (Error Correcting Code) to automatically detect and correct errors during data transfer, preventing data corruption and missing files.
