Traxdata expands its range of SDHC memory cards

Yesterday Traxdata announced the availability of their new 16GB Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) storage product, and its new miniSDHC and microSDHC memory cards. You can store approximately 5,000 four-megapixel images or six hours and 40 minutes of MPEG-2 video on the 16GB SDHC memory card.

“The 16GB SDHC and the additional miniSDHC and microSDHC memory cards are the next step in extending our existing wide range of flash memory cards. Developments in the field of digital cameras, digital video cameras, mobile phones and mobile internet have increased the demand for high capacity flash memory cards among both amateurs and professionals," says Jacob van der Hoeven, manager commercial strategy at Traxdata.

The miniSDHC and microSDHC both have a 4GB and 8GB version and could be considered the world's smallest memory cards. Both are ideal for those that make pictures on their mobile phones or just need some extra storage space.
