UltraISO updated 7.6.5.1260 fixes Alcohol 120% mounting bug

In case you dont know or never worked with one, a simple explanation of an ISO image file is that it contains the complete contents of a CD disc or other disk, from beginning to end. ISO images are often created to backup a CD. Another purpose is to distribute CD-ROM images over the Internet or over a network.

Product description from the website: UltraISO is an ISO CD/DVD image file creating/editing/converting tool. It can directly edit the CD/DVD image file and extract files and folders from it, as well as directly make ISO files from your CD/DVD-ROM or hard disk. At the same time, you can maintain the ISO bootable information, thus creating your own bootable CD/DVDs. You now have the power to make and edit your own ISO files, and then burn them to CD/DVD for your own needs.

What's new in this version: UltraISO 7.65 SR-2 (January 6, 2005)

  • Improved bootable ISO creating core, increases compatibility with most BIOS and CD/DVD drives
  • Setup tweaks

Bug Fixes:

  • a bug with detecting ISO mounting status of Alcohol 120%
  • Fixed a bug with integration of BIN files

You can visit the EZB Systems website for more information and a download. The UltraISO program sells for $29.95. It's a handy tool for sure! When it comes to viewing operating system downloads, such as Linux ISO's - it's nice to have around. There are plenty of these type programs, perhaps you know of a particular one that you would like to share here that you think is better!
