Memory stick and software tool in one: Verbatim Store ‘n’ Go USB 2.0 Carry it Easy

Verbatim has launched a new range of USB memory sticks featuring the full version of the Carry it Easy +Plus software from CoSoSys. The software offers password protection, synchronization with Microsoft Outlook, internet use without leaving footprints and a data compression function.

The smart, black Verbatim Drive Store ‘n’ Go USB 2.0 Carry it Easy +Plus has a read speed of up to 18 MB and a write speed of up to 9 MB per second. The memory stick is available with a capacity of 2, 4 or 8 GB and costs between £29.99 and £69.99 (RRP).

Important data, whether business or personal - from emails to contacts and appointments from Microsoft Outlook - can be easily carried as all that is needed to access the data is a host computer that has Outlook installed.

Verbatim USB 2.0 Drive Store ‘n’ Go is available with capacities of 2, 4 or 8 GB. The 8 GB version offers enough space for over 2,000 songs in MP3 format and takes around 15 minutes to transfer. In addition to the excellent storage capacity, the drive has a non-slip protective rubber coating.


Data synchronisation made easy

Software does not need to be installed on the host PC as launch can be directly from the memory stick - and no traces are left behind after removal. The privacy of the user’s domain remains completely intact,” said Roman Foeckl, Managing Director CoSoSys.

Functions such as data, folder and desktop synchronisation, plus Internet Explorer and Firefox Bookmarks and a function that facilitates footprint-free surfing on the internet are all included in the easy-to-operate user interface. The compression function also enables storage and transport of large volumes of data in compressed form. Additionally the software protects the data on the USB key from unauthorised access with password protection using reliable 128-bit AES encryption.
