Western Digital Caviar SE16 750GB HDD reviewed @Tech Report
An interesting review was published at The Tech Report. Besides the large capacity, what makes interesting the Western Digital Caviar SE16 750GB HDD is the low power consumption.
According to the review, this drive features IntelliSeek, a just-in-time approach to actuator movement that is supposed to not only lower power consumption but also reduce noise levels by minimizing seek-induced vibration.
Detailed benchmarks are available in the complete review, with comparisons against other hard discs. Even if, according to the article, this drive is not so silent as expected, it's anyway a fast and good performing drive.

Might be a good drive to shove in a PVR, like the Topfield 5800?
