The new Windows Media Player 7 Technology Preview is available for download on the MS site (6,4MB). Nice looking different GUI, and, well.. check it yourself at: Micros0ft
Before you install it read the following lines taken from the MS site...(don't say we didn't warn you if you get that nice blue screen ;-)
Caution This is prerelease software for technical evaluators and software developers. This software is for advanced users who regularly test prereleased software. Microsoft recommends that you do not install it on a primary computer or operating system. Please be aware that this version of the Microsoft® Windows Media™ Player has substantially higher hardware requirements than the released Windows Media Player 6.4.
