Media quality and compatibility becomes more and more important to all of us and to find the best quality media for the best price is not only one of the hottest topics in our forums, no it's one of the hottest topics around the web. For us users it's impossible to check all the different, available brands on their quality. Therefore, many of you are browsing our forums to compare the thousands of available quality scans to check out the best and cheapest media for your burner.
Today, DamnedIfIknow used our news submit to let us know about another really interesting media review which he found on the X-bit labs website. The guys over at X-bit Labs have tested discs from various manufacturers, in sum more than 20 different types of discs, with four popular DVD+/-RW DL drives.
DamnedIfIknow: 'They use the following popular drives:LG GSA-4163B NEC ND-3520A Pioneer DVR-109 Plextor PX-712AWhat? No Benq 1620? Plextor 716? Oh well, better they waste the discs then we do!"

One thing I've to add here is that 12 out of 22 tested medias are 2 and 4x DVD+/-RW media, which are for sure not of that high interest for us than the tests on the 8 and 16x DVD+/-R and DVD+R DL media.
However, it's a interesting review and if you are interested in reading more, then head over to the X-bit Labs website here and don't forget to visit our Media Forum if you want to find out more about media quality and/or if you have some interesting self made quality scans which you want to share with us.
