DVD-R media compatibility and write quality:


In these tests, we will be using the Toshiba SD-M1802 to read back the DVD-R's and the Plextor PX-712A to read back the DVD-RW's.

To sum it up: Overall, the write quality is not good at all on DVD-R and would need some improvement. It tends to be picky on the media.

Good review. Just wanted to let you know that the 1.06 firmware fixes the 4x writing speed with Ritek 16x +R media as well as problems with Ritek's DL media. Still not great results in both cases though.

How can i flash the driver? I made a stupid firmware update and my drive death. Where can i download the ".bin" format of the drive to use with MtkWinFlash?
