Conclusion

Conclusion

Positive:

  • Fast reading and writing performance.
  • Large capacity.
  • Extension USB cable and carry strap supplied.
  • Compact and nicely styled.
  • Robust and durable construction.
  • 10 year limited warranty.

Negative:

  • Nothing worth mentioning.

Conclusion:

Let us summarize the most important positive and negative points below:

The main positive points:

The Corsair Flash Voyager GT 16GB is at the leading edge in the performance stakes. It’s fast and has a large enough storage capacity to deal with most everyday tasks.

The Corsair Flash Voyager GT 16GB is durable and very well constructed and should provide the end user with a reliable means of carrying their precious data from one place to the other.

Corsair themselves are confident enough to provide a 10 year limited warranty with the Corsair Flash Voyager GT 16GB.

The Corsair Flash Voyager GT 16GB is also nicely styled and with its rubberised casing feels good to handle.

The main negative points:

None at all really, we could say the connector cap should be fixed with a strap to the device itself to prevent the cap being lost, but this is really just nitpicking.

To sum up, this is what we would say:

“It’s fast, robust and has ample storage capacity. To add to all this, a 10 year limited warranty”.

Because of the performance and storage capacity of the Corsair Flash Voyager GT 16GB flash drive; we decided to award the drive our CD Freaks “Editors Choice” award.

We found the Corsair Flash Voyager GT 16GB flash drive at LambdaTek priced at £40.84 Inc VAT.

Just pick this up from Newegg and with Corsair rebate it cost me $20.00 USD for this fine 16 GB Flash Drive.I use Corsair Ram in all my systems. They stand behind there products with great warranty and service.
