Produce Movie Disc: Part 4 - Final output
DVD - final output:
Now the time has come where we create and burn the final DVD, the easiest of all this steps.

A look on the screen itself shows us that there is not much to do. After we have added the name for our disc we can select if we want to burn the files directly to disc, if we want to save a disc image or if we want to create a DVD folder on our hard disc. Of course, we can choose all the options.
To set up the recorder is the last thing to do before we start with the final output.

Once the recorder and the recording speed have been selected, we can start the output of our video by clicking on the burn button.

After approximately two hours the whole process has finished and a congratulations window opens. Now we can go back to the main window or we simply quit PowerProducer.
Our first DVD is created, let us now look into the (S)VCD, Editable DVD and DivX creation.

The previous versions were terrible for sync error between the video and audio. Let's hope this is better!

I have the same problem as Tommy (in Producer 2 Gold)
All steps no problem, then final step burning after 50%
creating folders etc etc. it ejects DVD and gives
unspecified error (nothing burned).
Removed software and registry keys then reinstalled and
i don't have the problem for 3 DVD's and then it returns.
Very strange.
system: Amd X2 4200+, 2 GB, 8800GTS, 2 x 250GB

Put a support request bto Cyberlink and am waiting a response.

I love the product for producing quality DVD files from VCR but I dont use the smart facility. What I do is use the HQ VCR capture function and let it run. At the end I save it all the DVD folder and once it is all saved I run it through DVD shrink that not only shrinks it to the 4.7 size I need for burning but it also allows me to re author the disc and I can get rid of the stupid title image. Once re authored and shrunk I burn it to nti or nero and I have a great vcr to dvd conversion. I know it sounds messy but I only use the best bit of the software which is being able to encode analogue video to DVD directly with no double conversion loss you get with other capture software out there. So for the bit of it I use 5 stars...Hope that helps ...Simon
