CyberLink launches PowerProducer 4

If you are into video editing and like to work with high definition content then we have good news for you! Cyberlink has send us the news that they have released PowerProducer 4. This new version features high-definition video capturing and production, widescreen support and other advanced video editing tools. The company states that this version makes high-definition and widescreen authoring accessible to the home user which seems to be true at prices ranging from $40 - $70.

PowerProducer 4 Next-Gen recently received certification for Blu-ray compatibility and fully supports the HD DVD format. It also supports 16:9 widescreen play back ratio, and includes both 16:9 and 4:3 menu templates. Magic Video Editing tools permit quick and easy corrections, thematic titles and transitions for both videos and photos.

Who is up to trying it and reporting to us how it works? Or is high definition still far away from your video productions?

Or you could have just downloaded Cinelerra 2 years ago and edited HD for free.
Video editing and the pc is CRAP! I have tried Nero and its the worst, good concept, but very bad performance. If you want good video you need Sony vegas or avid, and for $500 to a $1000 no way, i could by a new mac and get imovie with it which does a great job.
