Creating a Movie:

Creating a movie is a very simple, click-by-click process. DVDFab Platinum 3 will remove any protection as it rips.

When we first insert our source and target discs, we’re presented with the Full Disc window by default. But for this exercise, we’ll be choosing Main Movie.

As we can see, in the Main Movie window, the main movie title is selected by default, and we have the option to remove or keep any audio and sub-picture we choose. We’ve kept the default settings for this disc. We also selected DVD5 from the drop-down box at the bottom, since we’re using a single-layer disc.

Now we’re ready to rip and burn our movie, so when we click Start, the ripping process will begin, and you’ll see this nice progress window, telling you which task DVDFab Platinum 3 is currently on.

Once the ripping and burning is done, you’ll be presented with this window, telling you it’s all gone smoothly:
