A neutral bezel, it has an eject button, a LED (green - for read and write - we prefer a different LED colour though for writing), and an emergency eject hole. The logos located on the loading tray include a HP logo, LightScribe Logo, a DVD-Multi Recorder/R DL Forum logo, DVD Alliance DVD+R DL logo and a CD-RW Ultra+ Speed logo.

Bottom

On the bottom of the drive we found many ventilation holes and two stickers, and we can read it was manufactured in China.

On the back of the drive we can find the USB2.0 Connector, power connector and some ventilation holes. We miss a power-switch to physically turn the drive off when it is not in use.

Now, let us install the drive and check out the features on the next page…

Much work to do for HP/LG. The writing-quality is not so good for a LG-drive
Looks promising! I own a HP300e, and am still very happy with it.
