| Description | Using your game's original CD or DVD, create a Game Jackal profile that enables you to play without the CD in the drive. |
Conclusion:
There are a number of programs designed to copy protected CD's these days. They all seem to be able to copy different protections but never all of them and it also replies heavily on the make and model of burner you have. Game Jackal removes the need for all of these different programs along with the need for a decent burner. Granted a good reader will make the job of creating profiles easier but as these can be picked up for as little as £15/ $20 these days no one should be without one.
So if you want to play your games without the originals then Game Jackal is certainly one very easy way to go. Simply make your profile and then start playing. Even after the game is patched the most you will have to do is recreate the profile and you are off again. No virtual drives to play with and to get blacklisted just a small profile that you won't even notice on your machine.
If you are not sure the fully functional trial version of Game Jackal is a welcome bonus to see how well it performs and if it is right for you. With no options limited or removed you can really get a feel for the program and what it offers.
With all of this in mind I can easily give Game Jackal the highest award at CDFreaks, the Editors Choice award. This award shows how highly I rate this program and how well it performs it job.

first - "It has also been stated by the developers that they are working on Tages and StarForce"
then the answer to your first developers' question indicates otherwise - "We do not target specific copy protections..."
So, which is the case?
Otherwise good work, certainly looks like an interesting program.
