The Lite-On LH-2B1S supports writing and reading the Blu-ray Discs (BD-R/BD-RE SL/DL) at a maximum 2x speed. 4x BD-R (single layer) writing speed will be available in future firmware upgrade.

Blu-ray (BD-R) Disc Writing Speed and Quality:
To demonstrate burning data on a Blu-ray (BD-R) disc, we use Nero CD/DVD speed with the create disc feature. The ScanDisc test is performed in the Lite-On LH-2B1S drive to check if there is any issue with the burned disc. Below are the results:



As we can see, the media is made by the TDK Corporation and the MID is: TDKBLDRBA


The Lite-On LH-2B1S used 46 minutes and 36 seconds to writing this TDK BD-R media at 2x CLV.

The ScanDisc test


As we can see, the Lite-On LH-2B1S had no problems in reading back our test disc.
