The Package
 

The package I have received contained the following items:

  • The drive itself
  • One piece of 52x CD-R media (made by CMC)
  • One piece of 24x CD-RW media (made by Plasmon)
  • A quick installation guide
  • Four installation screws
  • One audio cable to connect the drive to a sound card

The retail package is supposed to contain additionally Ahead Nero 5.5, as well as InCD, which allows you to use a CD-RW disc in the same manner as you can use floppy discs. LiteOn has no specific software bundled with its drive. Here is a picture of the package:

where can i get any soft that checks the c1 and c2 errors on cds after they're recorded.

In other things . igot the CMC media and no way i can even burn it at 24x .. It gives me coasters. i have to use 16x. For some odd reason. With some 24x media .. im able to go up to 48x.

BTW, i've got s07 firmware.

I´m very disappointed from the "terrific LiteOn 52x"

The writing quality with many media is very bad, i never buy a writer like this :r
