Writing performance CD R/RW

Writing Data CD-R/RW discs:

The specifications state that the drive should be able to write CD-Rs at 48x and CD-RWs at 32x:

The Optiarc AD-7173A uses CAV (Constant Angular Velocity) to write CD-R's at 48x. This gives an average writing speed of 35.47x and a writing time of 3 minutes and 16 seconds.

The Optiarc AD-7173A uses Z-CLV, (Zone-Constant Linear Velocity) to write CD-RWs at 32x. The average speed is 29.69x and total writing time is 3 minutes and 22 seconds.

In this preview, we did not include any quality scans of the CD-R/RW discs.

What about adding some scans made with the Optiarc itself?
Especially CD scans.
Does the drive offer all the scanning options of a Benq?
