 DVD+R/-R Double/Dual Layer writing performance:

DVD+R DL:

The Plextor PX-608CU uses Z-CLV, (Zone-Constant Linear Velocity) to write DVD+R DL at 4x. This gives an average writing speed of 3.74x, and a writing time of 31 minutes and 3 seconds.

The result is excellent.

The Plextor PX-608CU uses Z-CLV, (Zone-Constant Linear Velocity) to write DVD-R DL at 4x. This gives an average writing speed of 3.71x, and a writing time of 32 minutes and 32 seconds.

The KProbe result shows some high PI in the beginning of the media, but overall the result is good.
