The Composer Pro with the Primera Signature Pro attached gives you something different. It gives you the ability to publish a cd in small quantities with the looks of a professional manufactured cd. With the right CDR-media you can accomplish impressive full-color prints...
When we printed some examples and showed them to the mass the reactions were fenomenal. A beautiful full color printout was enough to convince many people on the professionalism of the duplicator. We did some tests by scanning an original cd and afterwards we printed the same image on a printable disc.
There are two main types of printable media around.
There are lots of printable discs around but it is very hard to find quality printable coatings.
Primera has their own Tuff-Coat printable discs.
It is a very good absorbing printable coating showing a quality print-out. The print on the disc gives a cdr that extra professional touch.
Un-comparable with any other normal label...
The Prassi software lets you even print a unique number on each disc which is excellent for creating serialnumbers. When testing we compared the printresults from the primera with the following cd-printers.
Result:
The Primera performs very wel giving a second best result. Only the C80 printer from Epson with 2880 dpi and micro-pié«zo electric head was a little bit sharper. The CD-tray from Primera is the most stable and the best we have seen so far. Combining these two habbits, the printer is one of the best in the industry...
And last but not least it integrates perfectly in the composer duplicator making it my number one favourite in the duplication market....

Mind that this is an example from a layout we found on the internet. We used the print to show that companies can have very professional print-outs. The print was made to show the capabilities of the printer. Keep in mind that piracy is a severe felony and that all content is strictly property of the owners...
(this is not a copy, there is no content on the discs, just a print on the surface we found throughout the internet claiming that it would be the label of an official Windows XP CD
To avoid mis-use of the printed disc we destroyed it after finishing the example scan
The original example was placed on the internet to sell an official Windows XP version)
Besides the cover from Windows XP we can say that the Primera software is fully Windows 98/ME and XP compatible.
Conclusion:
As you can see with your own eyes the Signature Pro is a dream for every company who wants professional looking cd's in smaller quantities.
The printing result is amazing and very sharp.

so i take it that you can not copy safe disk 1 or 2 discs with this product........When will we see a product that can do something like that......That would be awsome.
