The Duplicator-Hopper:
The Primera Composer Pro unit has the possibility to stack 100 CDR's. That means it can copy 100 CDR's unattended in one process.
Two hoppers are required for this job:
100 CDR's can be stacked in the hopper.
It looks like one of those trendy "Wé¼rlitzer Juke-Box systems...
With the hoppers in place we are actually ready to begin a duplication process without printing.
All we have to do now in attaching the appropriate cables with the PC. We must connect the scsi cable and a serial cable with the PC.
So it's time we have a look at the back of the Duplicator.
At the back of the Duplicator we can see from the left to the right:
The Duplicator control panel:
Since the Duplicator connects to a host PC most of the commands are done through this host.
There is however a small panel in front of the duplicator that let's you handle some emergency functions.
Conclusion:
The rest of the installation was child's play...
Placing the machinery on a reliable flat surface and putting the stack-hoppers in position. Connecting two cables with the host PC and providing power from the powersupply, and we were ready to begin duplicating.
