Creating a Blu ray Disc

Next we are going to look at creating a Blu-ray disc.

In the new project window we first selected Blu-ray project.

For this project we added two high-definition trailers with a total around 5 minutes of audio-video.

We are able to change the project settings by a simple click.

The video compression settings.

The audio and frame size settings.

We have a choice to see the output result or preview the disc before we burn.

Next we start to burn the project to our Blu-ray drive. It took about 47 minutes to encode the high-definition audio/video and burn it to our BD-RE media.

There was no problem playing back the Blu-ray disc with Intervideo WinDVD 7.

On the next page we will take a look at the Audio/Data disc function.

This is a pretty good review-- I can tell the software seems much more usable than previous versions. But could you compare it to other programs? Is it better than Nero, for instance?
