Select your source, then capture
PowerProducer automatically detects the source of your video content, making capturing a snap. You can choose to work with what you've captured on your desktop, or record directly to Blu-ray Discs, DVDs, and HD DVDs with Right-to-Disc. You can also capture from your TV, VCR, or webcam and import files from DVDs.

Work in Widescreen
You can capture widescreen videos, add 16:9 menus, then produce dics that will playback perfectly on widescreen TV displays. Whether you choose to work in standard (4:3) or widescreen (16:9) playback ratio, PowerProducer lets you capture and work with either format throughout each step of the process.

Create video chapters automatically as you capture

PowerProducer's Auto-Chapter can automatically separate a video file into chapters during recording.

Auto-File Separation estimates both the length of a video file and available disc space to ensure that your recording stops when the disc limit is reached, allowing you to seamlessly put large files onto several discs to create a set.

Create discs for your home theater system
PowerProducer supports the encoding of video with Dolby Digital audio, so that you can retain the original sound quality of your recordings, and create discs that are compatible with your Dolby Digital playback devices. Select your country preference, and PowerProducer will automatically configure the correct video file format for both PAL and NTSC.
